Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across various areas including networking, hardware, software, and system maintenance. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing prompt, effective solutions to technical issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support: Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems across the organization.

2. Networking: Manage and troubleshoot network-related issues including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.

3. Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.

4. Software Management: Install, update, and maintain software applications, ensuring compatibility and security across all systems.

5. System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the organization’s IT systems.

6. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions, and develop documentation for IT procedures and policies.

8. Training: Provide technical training and support to end-users to improve their efficiency and understanding of IT systems.

 

Qualifications:

  •  Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  •  Nationality : Saudi
  •  Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, with a strong understanding of networking, hardware, and software.
  •  Skills:
  •  Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  •  Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  •  Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  •  Familiarity with IT support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  •  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  •  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  •  Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant IT certifications are a plus.
