As a Senior Architect/Civil Engineer at Chestertons you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing projects from inception through to completion. You will utilize your extensive experience in architectural design or civil engineering to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects, while mentoring and guiding junior team members. This position requires a deep understanding of design principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements within the real estate (Property/Project/Facilities Management, commercial, residential, infrastructure]. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architectural design or civil engineering team in conceptualizing, planning, and executing projects of various scales and complexities. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations. - Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and maintain strong client relationships. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth. - Review and approve architectural or engineering drawings, specifications, and deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy. - Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in technology to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. - 5+ years of experience in architectural design or civil engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion. - Professional licensure (Registered Architect, Professional Engineer, or equivalent) strongly preferred. - Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.) and familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) tools. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Real Estate, Project Management, Property, Project, Facilities Management operation. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.). Project Management certification (PMP, CMAA, etc.).
