Stock Controller
- The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing the inventory of a company ( auto fill & product performance ) .
- They will track incoming and outgoing products, and ensure that the correct amount of product is in stock at all times.
- They will work with the purchasing department to order new product when needed, and will resolve any issues with incorrect or damaged shipments.
- The Stock Controller will also maintain records of product movement and location.
Stock Controller Job Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming stock against delivery documentation
- Inspect stock for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to suppliers
- Allocate storage space for new stock arrivals and ensure safe and tidy storage at all times
- Pick and pack orders for customers as requested, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch
- Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels
- Monitor stock levels and order new supplies as necessary to avoid shortages
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth running of operations
Objectives
- To maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all stock items
- To ensure that all stock items are properly labelled and stored
- To regularly check stock levels and report any discrepancies to the relevant manager
- To liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- To assist in the smooth running of the warehouse by keeping it tidy and organised
- To carry out regular stocktaking tasks
