We are looking to hire linguists / Interpreter to work in KSA.
Below are the details:
• Language: English, Arabic.
• Linguistic level: NATO STANAG 6001 level 4 – Listening, Talking, Reading & Writing.
• Security Clearance: Prefer BPSS - Must be security cleared by the KSA MOD. Must be residents of KSA.
• Work Area: Not yet decided. Includes travel to Jeddah, Taif, Riyadh, Tabuk, Hafar Al Batin, and Dammam.
Job Description:
o To facilitate meetings with Commanders and personnel of the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia including the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF), Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF), Saudi Arabian Border Guard (BG) and Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG). This includes sharing Arabic translated written documentation with HQ RSLF, RSNF, BG and SANG.
o Manage all interpreter requirements and act as a Cultural Advisor to Comd BPC.
o This is an enduring capability requirement to maintain familiarity with UK working practices, UK military terminology and course requirements. An enduring requirement to the HQ Comd staff to maintain the UK message across all dealings with the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces.
