Your Job
You will be part of the engineering team responsible for Process Engineering activities to ensure fulfillment of the Flare projects for the major gas processing, refining, or petrochemical industries. You will be expected to work very closely with the Sales, Project management, After Market, and Mechanical design teams to ensure the equipment performance requirements are achieved. Should understand the needs of our customers based on previous experiences and be able to leverage those experiences to provide meaningful guidance and insight for our customers and our company. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team and ensure that the Flares package meets the process and quality requirement of the project. Should be able to work in a dynamic situation supporting different product groups. Must have good communication skills.

What You Will Do<br/><br/>Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Responsible for complete process design of combustion equipment i.e., Flares & KOD selection, performance evaluation, emission calculation, risk assessment, and risk mitigation.
Develop and apply engineered solutions for customer applications by understanding the specifications and anticipating the customers' needs.
Prepare/Review Process documents such as<br/><br/>- Heat and Material balance & Process flow diagram (PFD).<br/><br/>- Process data sheet & Piping & Instrumentation diagram (P&ID).<br/><br/>- Control narratives & cause and effect matrix (C&E).<br/><br/>- Checking/Preparation of all Process Calculations like equipment sizing, Hydraulics, radiation analysis, Flare/Vent header, PSV, Blowdown etc.<br/><br/>- Review of vendor documents and technical bid evaluation.<br/><br/>Participate in safety, environmental, and operability reviews (HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, SIL).
Handle a project independently and interact with all parties concerned both internal and external as an effective team player, work with multi-national clients, and demonstrate effective communication.
Guarantee the respect of best practice and standards, establish, and capitalize new standards when applicable.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site inspections, troubleshooting, and performance tests activities.<br/><br/>Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)<br/><br/>Qualifications:<br/><br/>Background in Mechanical / Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering
Conversant with international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, etc.
Strong knowledge and understanding of fluid mechanics and the thermal sciences.
Good experience in combustion calculation and emission mitigation strategies.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
Follow company guidelines and ensure compliance.
Experience in Process Engineering for gas processing, refining, or petrochemical industries; experience in combustion equipment will be also desirable.<br/><br/>What Will Put You Ahead<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications:<br/><br/>Experience in the refining/petrochemical industries.
Having good experience in chemical engineering simulation software like HYSYS, UNISIM, FLARENET, FLARESIM, PIPENET, PIPESIM, etc.
Process engineering role supporting fired combustion equipment, combustion control, or related areas within refinery and chemical plant operations.
Very strong skill set in MS package and capable of quickly learning new software systems.
Strong skills in programming Excel VBA and Python.
Professional experience leveraging computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or related consulting services.
