Senior Process Engineer (Membrane Technology - ThyssenKrupp)<br/><br/>Provide process engineering guidance and technical expertise to operating departments with the aim of achieving safe and sustained plant performance.<br/><br/>Job Purpose<br/><br/>Provide process engineering guidance and technical expertise to operating departments with the aim of achieving safe and sustained plant performance.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities-<br/><br/>Offer technical input in EHSS (Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability) activities, including MOCs (Management of Change), PHAs (Process Hazard Analysis), HazOps (Hazard and Operability Studies), and PSERs (Pre-Startup EHSS Reviews). Verify EHSS process-related calculations.
Support operating departments in achieving Sustainability KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Conduct requested studies to assess operating plants' conditions, aiming to improve safe performance and achieve production capacity/targets through the PESR (Process Engineering Studies and Reviews) system.
Analyze new technical developments in process engineering and propose improvements for existing facilities. Act as a focal point for handling process-related technical service requests (TSRs).
Periodically monitor critical operating parameters to assess equipment performance in relation to optimum operation. Develop plant load optimization proposals when applicable.
Assist operating departments in process project activities, such as preparing process-related design packages (CDPs), conducting CBP (Conceptual Basis Package) reviews, and implementing plant process modifications.
Support operating plants in process feasibility studies, BEDD (Basic Engineering Design Document) development, PDP (Process Design Package) creation, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), detailed engineering, execution, run tests, commissioning, and startup of site projects to ensure compliance.
Participate in mega projects by providing necessary technical support.
Engage in operating plants' startups and shutdowns, as well as support investigations of unscheduled plant interruptions.
Contribute to process-related reliability methodologies for operating plants.
Conduct studies on chronic process problems and provide short- and long-term solution proposals.
Represent the company in communication with licensors and other entities, exchanging expertise and knowledge to resolve technical problems.<br/><br/>Requirements<br/><br/>B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
10+ years of experience as a process engineer in the petrochemical industry, specifically in Membrane Caustic/EDC/chlorine/hydrogen plants. Preferably, experience with ThyssenKrupp technology.<br/><br/>#J-18808-Ljbffr
