Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link<br/><br/>Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:<br/><br/>Head, Control Systems Job<br/><br/>Work Location:<br/><br/>KSA<br/><br/>Jubail<br/><br/>An exciting opportunity is available for a Head, Control Systems reporting to Process Control Manager, Located in Jubail.<br/><br/>POSITION SUMMARY:<br/><br/>As an experienced Process Control Professional working at the first level of management, is responsible for the planning and oversight of engineering tasks and related activities and the day-to-day management of identified staff and resources. Ensures delivery of a high quality, reliable and cost-effective Control Systems Engineering service for a major plant area.<br/><br/>KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br/><br/>• To provide safe and reliable process control System to the Operations with the Preventive and Corrective maintenance for the process Control Systems (DCS/ESD).<br/><br/>• Provides input for preparation Department Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets.<br/><br/>• Evaluate any new technical developments in process control in order to improve and enhance existing control system.<br/><br/>• To assess the existing systems on obsolescence, spare parts availability, vendor support, inter-operability and integration, with no downtime on production in view of the present technology of the process control applications.<br/><br/>• Evaluates new technology and trends in control systems and makes recommendations to deploy in the plant to optimize the operation in a safe and reliable manner.<br/><br/>• Supervises and provides day to day technical leadership and guidance to the team.<br/><br/>• Participates in the recruitment, training, coaching and performance management of designated employees.<br/><br/>• Ensures delivery of planned tasks and activities, taking decisions on routine problems and methodology and resourcing issues.<br/><br/>• Provides expertise to support the design, installation and commissioning of capital projects and significant modifications.<br/><br/>• Drives continuous improvement in Process Control to ensure utilisation, quality and competence on-time/on-budget.<br/><br/>• Plans, schedules and coordinates people, equipment and resources to ensure availability in line with planned project activities.<br/><br/>• Participates in the development and modification of engineering methods, tools processes/standards and ensures budget compliance.<br/><br/>• Provides technical advice to various parties to address problems in a timely way.<br/><br/>• Develops a strong SHE culture; communicates safety regulations, assesses/reports unusual hazards or violations; initiates action.<br/><br/>• Implement and maintain Cyber Security controls for control systems.<br/><br/>• Bachelor of science or engineering preferably Instrument/Electrical<br/><br/>• 8 years of related experience.<br/><br/>Tasnee employs over 4,000 people in Saudi Arabia and we value everyone's contribution in making our business successful.
