Title: Business Governance Manager Group: Corporate Banking (CIB)Department: Business Management (CIB)The Business Governance Manager role provides oversight and support to CIB on Business Governance matters related to Regulatory Compliance and Operational Risk Management. This role is a key stakeholder which brings together Business (including front line, products, and back-office teams), Operations, IT and Risk Stewards E.g. Compliance, Legal, etc. on important risk and compliance matters. Core Responsibilities: Implement regulatory developments by way of coordinating with stakeholders in OPS, IT, etc. and ensure update to relevant procedures and systems where applicable.timely response to regulatory information requests from CIB. This requires coordination with Data Management team and other stakeholders (e.g. business front line, OPS, etc.). Review key controls, identify design and execution gaps, and record them as self-identified issues for proper resolution. Business Governance Senior Manager to carry out assigned business / operational controls that help to manage CIB risks (e.g. periodic staff declaration tracking, conflicts register maintenance, Volcker list preparation, etc.).out risk remediation activities (following a structured approach) originating from issues identified internally within the bank and by regulators. Contribute to efficiency gain within CIB wider teams and better customer experience by driving change with outdated/unreasonable policies and procedures. Management: Conduct awareness sessions on key policy / procedural matters with CIB front line and client support teams. Written and verbal communication skills: ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and find compromises to complex challenges attention to detail and ability to deliver at pace. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance related discipline. Compliance / Project Management certification would be useful. Written and spoken English as well as Arabic. Around 5+ years of professional experience in Governance.
