Financial analyst- fixed asset and fp&a

Job Description: Responsible for creating and communicating key financial and business analysis/support to management on capital expenditure and depreciation trends. Requires technical accounting knowledge of the long-lived asset process. Responsible for accurate asset details on all Fixed Assets for auditing purposes. Label/tag and record all company Fixed Assets before distributing to user and record details on Fixed Assets Register. Update asset records on a daily basis to ensure easy access to Fixed Assets information. The candidate will be a business partner to the plant team and responsible for accurate accounting of fixed assets of the company. Responsibilities Fixed Asset Management: Record and maintain detailed and accurate records of fixed asset acquisitions, capitalizations, transfers, retirements, and disposals. Review and post purchase orders, invoices, and related documents to ensure proper asset capitalization. Calculate and post accurate depreciation and amortization entries in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Review depreciation reports and reconcile balances to ensure accuracy. Perform regular reconciliations between fixed asset sub-ledgers, general ledger accounts, and physical asset records. Provide insights and recommendations to support financial decision-making. Perform yearly physical count and review results to determine idle and obsolete assets. Perform tagging of all new added assets on quarterly basis. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting principles. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on the annual budget, monitor variances, and provide decision-making insights. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Conduct regular reviews to address control weaknesses and ensure regulatory compliance. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis for strategic decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business performance. Audit Management: Coordinate external audits, prepare schedules, and implement recommendations. Handle Yearly external Audit and internal audit requirements. Business Partnering:·Collaborate with engineers and other departments to track and monitor capital expenditures, ensuring that all relevant costs are accurately captured and capitalized and within an approved budget. Skills Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting and Financial Analysis (CMA/CIMA/Advance degree preferred)5-7 years’ experience in financial analysis and Fixed Asset Management for a FMCG company. SAP FICO experience- Hands on Fixed Asset Register & reporting experience (SAP S/4 Hana preferred)Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)Fluency in English (Bilingual- Arabic and English preferred)Saudi Nationality
