Power Transmission Engineer- Ancillary Services, Back Office Market Operation, Meter Data management Analyze transmission (electrical) system performance and identify opportunities for improvement in ancillary service provision. Develop and implement strategies to optimize voltage control, frequency regulation, and reactive power support. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed ancillary services projects. Provide technical expertise and support for transmission system planning and analysis, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing solutions to enhance grid stability and reliability. Monitor system performance and respond to emergencies or abnormal conditions as needed. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in transmission engineering and ancillary services. Experience with renewable energy integration and grid modernization initiatives is a plus. Skills A university degree in electrical engineering, preferably an MSc in Electrical Engineering, with proven experience in the electric utility speciality in Power and Energy Systems. A minimum of fifteen (15) years of work experience in a recognised technical field of expertise associated with a speciality in ancillary services or with a recommendation from the Employment Committee and approval from authorized persons.
