Job Description
We are seeking 5 highly skilled NDT Technicians with Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 2 certification, either PCN or SNT-TC-1 A, and possessing Aramco approved EPD RPP Cards. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting RT inspections and ensuring compliance with Aramco standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Carry out assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor to ensure completion within specified timelines.
Supervise and coordinate the NDT work activities of other technicians, covering Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain comprehensive records of inspection activities.
Review design drawings and engineering specifications related to NDT to ensure conformance with applicable standards and procedures.
Ensure proper usage, handling, and storage of materials in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines.
Perform assigned activities at various locations such as plants, field locations, fabrication yards, and vendor shops, adhering to applicable procedures, international specifications, and industry standards.
Continually review company procedures and standards related to NDT, staying updated on the latest protocols and methods.
Provide on-the-job training for colleagues and contractor technicians as needed to ensure competency in NDT techniques and safety practices.
Drive vehicles as required to perform job functions, maintaining compliance with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
Demonstrate proficiency in Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing Shear Wave (UT), and Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT).
Conduct activities related to the use, handling, transportation, and storage of radioactive sources in accordance with approved Radiation Protection/Safety Procedures and National Regulations.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Possess a two-year industrial/technical college diploma.
Have at least five years of field experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Alternatively, candidates with a diploma and seven years of field experience in NDT, preferably in a science or industrial discipline, may also apply.
Hold a valid ARAMCO RPP Card.
Successfully completed formal classroom training in radiation safety with comprehension verified through examinations, conducted by licensed radiation safety training agencies (minimum 16 hours).
Possess a valid employer-based Level II certification in: Ultrasonic Testing (Shear Wave), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT), Visual Testing (VT).
Familiar and conversant with International Standards, procedures, and codes related to NDT, such as ASME Sec. V, ANSI, B31.1, B31.2, API -1104, AWS 01.1.<br/><br/>Additional Information
