Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Maintenance, Quality Control, and Design Engineering), contribute to the improvement of fault-finding processes and much more.<br/><br/>We’ll look to you for:<br/><br/>Analyzing and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues within diesel locomotives,<br/><br/>Implementing effective solutions to resolve faults and prevent recurrence,<br/><br/>Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to ensure the delegation of responsibilities aligns with project needs,<br/><br/>Developing and optimizing maintenance procedures and protocols,<br/><br/>Communicating clearly and effectively with clients and team members regarding technical issues and solutions,<br/><br/>Ensuring all activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance,<br/><br/>Documenting fault findings and repair actions accurately for maintenance records and reports,<br/><br/>Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff,<br/><br/>Continuously updating personal technical knowledge and skill set to enhance service quality,<br/><br/>Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices within the company"<br/><br/>All about you<br/><br/>We value passion and attitude over experience.
