Job Purpose: Performs engineering studies, design, development and control of assigned projects such as Security Access Control System, Velocity System, IDAS or any security system as directed by the management. 1. Work under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor for installation and maintenance of security equipment. 2. Work in group for installation and maintenance of Hydraulic Crash Barriers, Drop Arms, Turnstiles, CCTV cameras, microwaves andother equipment procured by the department. 3. Make market survey and recommend procurement of best in class security equipment needed by the Department. 4. Responsible for procurement of spare parts and ensure that adequate inventory is available in stock to carry out preventive aswell as critical maintenance. 5. Use SAP for material inventory, procurement and material ordering. 6. Act as mentor for Saudi Arab workforce within the Unit and train them to perform job independently. 8. Adopt economical and durable spare parts for maintenance to enhance shareholder value. 9. Responsible to keep in excellent operational order all security electronic and electrical equipment in the department. 10. Responsible to maintain hard ware such as turnstiles, drop arms, crash barriers, microwave, fiber optic related to access control at the gates. 11. Involved in the purchase of material required to upgrade access control, ID and vehicle stickers issuance. 12. Find remedial solution for anti pass back at turnstiles. Keep record of all anti pass back for record and reference. 13. Use SAP for inventory and order for spare parts. Replenish the material before stock is exhausted. 14. Work as mentor to SACS Technicians. Prepare in-house training program to cover repairs of all electronic and electrical equipment. Specific knowledge & business understanding: Excellent command over written and spoken English
