What You'll Be Doing:
Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Landscape Engineer will have responsibility for the review of requirements associated with PMC role to provide design reviews<br/><br/>Work in close coordination with the Lead Designer and/or Design Director and others, lead and direct the efficient, professional analysis, synthesis, and recommendation of conceptual design alternatives to establish, communicate and sell the design vision for landscape architectural design projects.<br/><br/>Supervise the preparation, design and presentation of high-quality urban design concept drawings and reports.<br/><br/>Supervise the preparation of technical design packages through to tender and monitor construction quality.<br/><br/>Liaise with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, internal and external team members including master planners, architects, urban designers, specialist designers, all engineering disciplines and quantity surveyors.<br/><br/>Plan, program and delegate within the team structure and participate in workflow reporting and planning.<br/><br/>Provide high level liaison with Clients and Client’s representatives.<br/><br/>Participate in writing technical proposals, estimating levels of effort, work plans, and schedules as required.<br/><br/>Maintain affiliations with professional societies to keep abreast of development of trends and technologies.<br/><br/>Ensure quality and timely delivery of design review deliverables in accordance with the agreed schedule and plan<br/><br/>Ensure Design Review deliverables are coordinated and the timely submission of submittals, deliverables, reviews and approvals against contract requirements.<br/><br/>Report to the Project Director or designated leader advice on any deviations from the same.Adhere to Health and Safety and Quality measures and associated policies.<br/><br/>Provide design advice, reports, and liaise with all internal departments as required.<br/><br/>Coordinate assignments between the interfacing department teams as required, Communicate and liaise with all project personnel in a professional manner.<br/><br/>Adhere to Design review principles in terms of Quality, ensuring personal responsibility of design outputs as being properly checked and in line with the design brief and quality standards.<br/><br/>Review and recommend approval as required to the Project Director design standards proposals to be used by the Contractors for compliance with the contract;<br/><br/>Assist in the preparation of responses to all design related requests for clarification sent by the Contractor<br/><br/>Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architecture from a recognized university<br/><br/>Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the design review of Landscape drawings and designs showing increasing levels of responsibility<br/><br/>Experience managing groups for established Consulting firms or the client side<br/><br/>Proven leadership and delivery ability<br/><br/>Knowledge of LEED principles, certification preferred<br/><br/>Excellent English verbal and writing skills<br/><br/>Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
