Your team responsibilities We are looking for an experienced country / business sales manager to drive our commercial activities in Saudi Arabia. The role will be based in Riyadh and responsible for client relationship management at senior levels and delivering on sales targets. The role will report to the Head of Client Coverage for the Middle East. Moreover, being the lead figure of our operation in Saudi Arabia this person will not only be a valuable member of the EMEA Coverage Leadership team, but the face of MSCI into the markets. Your key responsibilities · As the newly appointed Country Sales Manager in Saudi Arabia, he/she will be instrumental in the execution of a strategic growth and sales plan to ensure a high retention of the existing book of business and revenue growth across new business. · Develop, manage and grow MSCI’s senior client relationships in Saudi Arabia · Manage, lead and motivate the satellite Saudi Arabia coverage team to cross-sell products and drive revenues across new and existing clients and increase overall client satisfaction. · Manage the on-going day-to-day sales pipeline process for the Saudi Arabian business to ensure accurate and timely forecast of results vs. targets. · Work closely with the global product teams to implement strategies to secure new business and achieve renewal targets. · Present at Town Halls, Coverage Sessions and other meetings as required. Your skills and experience that will help you excel · As a prerequisite, the successful candidate will have an in-depth experience (10 years+) of the financial services industry in Saudi Arabia, with experience of managing a team within a major financial institution, a financial services systems vendor or information provider. The role will be based in Riyadh. · Proven track record of building highly effective sales teams, including achieving sustained high revenue growth and profitability. · Detailed practical experience of executing strategic country sales plans for a team of sales professionals with a collaborative team-oriented approach. · Strong technical, multi-asset class experience with understanding of indexes and complex derivatives products and a high degree of understanding of analytics, risk and performance models. · First class communication and presentation skills to senior and EXCO level management as well as to team and direct reports. · Intellectual, commercial, persuasive, with high integrity in addition to the vision and entrepreneurial ability to inspire a culturally diverse team and to lead growth. · Requires native Arabic and business level English-speaking language skills with a pre-existing strong network in Saudi Arabia including a wide range of contacts at C-Level. · Bachelor’s Degree.
