Project Manager - Training and Development

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Project Manager - Training and Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop training materials, coordinate training sessions, and assess the effectiveness of the training programs. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for developing and nurturing talent.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop training objectives.
  2. Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  3. Coordinate the design and development of training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online modules.
  4. Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtual.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  6. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and make recommendations for updates and enhancements to training programs.
  7. Collaborate with external vendors and trainers to deliver specialized training programs.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in training and development.
  9. Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates to key stakeholders on the progress of training programs.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the training and development field.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple training projects simultaneously.
  3. Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  5. Ability to analyze training needs and develop effective training solutions to address them.
  6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Experience in the use of learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  10. Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in training and development.
