Job Summary

Support lawyers by maintaining, drafting documents, and organizing files, calling on legal witnesses, maintaining a legal library and more.To perform a variety of tasks to support lawyers, counsels, including conducting legal research, and drafting documents.

Job Responsibilities 1

  • Contributing to trial preparation in practices
  • Drafting legal documents and pleadings, including deposition notices, subpoenas, motions, certifications, contracts, briefs, and complaints
  • Providing behind-the-scenes support in the courtroom at hearings and trials, or in arbitration, mediation, administrative proceedings, and closings

Job Responsibilities 2

  • Investigate and gather the facts of a case.
  • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
  • Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
  • Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
  • Write or summarize reports to help lawyers/Counsels prepare for trials
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents, such as contracts and mortgages
  • Get affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court
  • Help lawyers/Counsels during trials by handling exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing trial transcripts
  • File exhibits, briefs, appeals and other legal documents with the court or opposing counsel
  • Call clients, witnesses, lawyers/Counsels, and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions

Job Experience

Minimum 7 years of proven experience (required)

3 years’ experience supervising a team

2 Years GCC Experience (Preferred)
