Kalmar is looking for a Regional Service Coordinator, responsible for leading, developing and motivating a Regional Service Team in North West Africa. The role requires to plan, prioritise, and manage technical service activities, prioritise tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively, in a safe manner and that customer service agreements are fulfilled to a high quality standard.
This position is based in Tangier, Morocco. The role is reporting to the Head of Service Operations.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Develop, evaluate, and review technical service procedures and standards; monitor cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending To regularly meet with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction is attained and effective working relationships are developed and maintained To actively plan, prioritise, and implement service activities to fulfill maintenance contracts and service-level agreements to maximise revenue Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for installations, upgrades, and other technical services; prepare work orders and monitor the progress of work against estimates Consider the future and how to support both the customer and the team; by translating the wider business strategy and objectives into how it relates to them and implement appropriate actions Research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the technical service team Ensuring that HSEQ (Health, Safety Environment & Quality) policies and procedures are maintained, ensuring safe systems of work are in place and followed Motivate and engage the team to deliver against KPI’s and business strategy whilst working towards continuous improvement To coach team members to reach their maximum potential and create a team environment to optimise service performance Install a customer focused culture and a right first time approach with the team Comply with all Legal and company standards , such as code of conduct To insure the follow-up of the contract KPI’s to meet the target Insure the troubleshooting within the machines in case of major repairs and team members limitations Participate in the customer daily and weekly meetings Coordinate with the product support for technical assistance Insure the regional projects follow-up and implementation Have a close and customer satisfaction mindset.

What you’ll need to succeed



We are looking for a motivational leader, oriented towards people and skills development, with negotiation skills and customer focused.
Ideally you have:
Degree level, MASTER DEGREE in engineering would be suitable Experienced in working within a service delivery industry Experience of managing a Regional Service Team Knowledge and technical understanding of material handling equipment or service industry Understanding of Country Employment Law (preferable) Good communication and leadership skills Good in English reporting.
