About the Role

TAFE JD is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to maintaining accurate financial reporting and effective cost management within the organization. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budgets, and delivering financial reports that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards to provide insights into operational efficiencies.
• Monitor and control costs across departments, using accounting software to track expenditures and identify cost-saving trends.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets by collaborating with department heads to gather data and forecasts for financial planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare budgeted costs against actual performance, identifying discrepancies and developing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and overhead costs, ensuring proper allocation of expenses for transparent financial reporting.
• Support the month-end closing process by ensuring accurate and timely recording of all cost-related entries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop cost-effective strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Participate in audits by preparing documentation and explaining cost variances to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost accounting processes and systems.

Required Experience

• Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting.
