About the Role

Neamat Al-Khair Factory for Pastries and Chocolate is looking for a Cashier to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah Province. The incumbent is responsible for managing cash and credit transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of sales records. The role is full-time and requires two to five years of experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Count and record money in the cash register at the beginning of the shift, ensuring a sufficient amount of change is available.
• Receive payments by cash, credit card, or other approved payment methods, pay out the remaining amounts, and issue appropriate receipts to customers.
• Continuously update price lists, calculate prices for goods or services, prepare invoices, and apply necessary discounts when required.
• Reconcile cash received with total sales at the end of the shift, and report or settle any discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, and accommodate their requests regarding adding or removing items from purchase lists.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Two to five years of practical experience in a similar role as a cashier or teller.
• Ability to handle cash amounts accurately and quickly.
• Good skills in using cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and report any discrepancies.

• Excellent communication skills and tact in dealing with customers.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in financial tasks.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and in a fast-paced work environment.
