About the Role

Q Mart is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in backend engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Go.
• Develop and improve microservices that power orders, payments, logistics, and inventory.
• Build reliable RESTful and gRPC APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and queries.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to code reviews and backend architecture decisions.
