Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Planning Engineer (10+ years of experience) to join our team for prestigious projects in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for full schedule management, variation analysis, and delay claim substantiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Manage Variation Orders (VOs), evaluating their technical, financial, and contractual impacts.
- Prepare, analyze, and substantiate Extension of Time (EOT) claims and identify Critical Path delays.
- Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to assess the impact of variations and delays on the overall project schedule.
- Monitor progress, prepare S-Curves, Cash Flow forecasts, and comprehensive daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure project milestones are successfully met.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and control within the construction industry.
- Key Requirement: Prior experience working with BIF companies (preferably an approved/certified engineer by a BIF entity).
- Strong, hands-on expertise in Variations, EOT claims, and assessing time impact on variations.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
- Location: AlUla, Saudi Arabia (On-site).
