Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk Assistant to join our remote team. This entry-level position supports daily business operations by entering and updating information, maintaining digital records, processing documents, and providing general administrative assistance. The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, working with spreadsheets and digital documents, following established procedures, and completing routine assignments accurately and on time. Previous professional data entry or office experience is not required. Training and guidance will be provided to qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Record Maintenance

  • Enter and update information in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
  • Transfer information from approved source documents into digital records.
  • Review entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Update existing records with current information.
  • Identify missing, duplicate, or incorrect information.
  • Correct routine errors when authorized.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic records.
  • Perform basic quality-control checks on completed work.
  • Follow established data-entry and recordkeeping procedures.

Administrative Support

  • Provide routine administrative assistance to managers and team members.
  • Prepare, format, organize, and update basic business documents.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, contact lists, and administrative logs.
  • Process routine forms and internal requests.
  • Organize shared folders and electronic files.
  • Route documents and information to appropriate team members.
  • Monitor shared inboxes or communication channels when assigned.
  • Assist with additional clerical and administrative projects as needed.

Document Processing

  • Upload, label, categorize, and archive digital documents.
  • Review documents for completeness and basic accuracy.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems.
  • Follow established file-naming and storage procedures.
  • Maintain document indexes and tracking logs.
  • Retrieve authorized records when requested.
  • Organize templates, forms, reports, and reference materials.
  • Handle confidential documents responsibly.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Basic computer and typing proficiency.
  • Familiarity with email, web browsers, spreadsheets, and digital documents.
