A major oil and gas service company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician / Mechanic to support their WLES (Open Hole) operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of mechanical equipment used in wireline operations, ensuring all equipment is safe, reliable and operationally ready.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, maintenance, servicing and repair of WLES/Open Hole equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment issues.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for field operations and ensure it meets operational and safety requirements.
• Support workshop and field-based maintenance activities as required.
• Complete maintenance records, inspections and relevant documentation.
• Work closely with field and maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician, Mechanic or Maintenance Technician within the oil and gas industry. Experience working with Wireline / WLES (Open Hole) equipment is highly desirable. Strong mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience working with oilfield service equipment. Ability to work safely in a rotational field environment. Previous experience in a major oilfield service company would be advantageous.
