Demand & Supply Planner

Our client is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to play a key role in aligning demand and supply planning with market requirements. This is an analytical and commercially focused position, responsible for forecasting future product demand, managing inventory flow, developing forecast models, and ensuring supply operations remain timely, efficient and cost-effective.
You will be responsible for:Demand forecasting: Analysing market intelligence, historical sales data, industry trends and demand patterns to develop accurate forecasts. Supply & inventory planning: Developing supply plans that maintain optimal inventory levels while identifying and addressing potential shortages or excess stock. Cross-functional influence: Working closely with sales, marketing and logistics teams to ensure planning decisions are aligned with wider business objectives.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working with data but can also communicate insights clearly to management and respond quickly to changing demand and supply requirements.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a relevant field. Proven experience in demand and supply planning or forecasting. Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
