Job Summary:Responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the facility/site. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification. Ensure compliance with Saudi HSE regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety requirements. Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor safe work practices, including Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, working at height, confined space, and hot work. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and contractors. Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment. Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports, and safety statistics. Support emergency preparedness, including fire prevention, emergency response, and evacuation drills. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to identify and mitigate operational safety risks. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure. Monitor contractors' compliance with company safety standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of the company's Safety Culture and HSE performance.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety / HSE, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation, and safety inspections. Good knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and applicable Saudi HSE regulations. Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks. NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification is preferred.
