Role Description The Audio Visual Subcontractor will support Tarabut Solutions in delivering, installing, and maintaining professional audio-visual systems for client projects. This on-site role is located in Saudi Arabia and involves tasks such as setting up AV equipment, performing system configuration, testing functionality, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that all installations meet project specifications and safety guidelines. The subcontractor will coordinate with project managers, other technical teams, and client representatives to plan work, review drawings or documentation, and complete installations on schedule. Responsibilities also include reporting progress, documenting work performed, and providing basic user guidance to clients on installed systems.
Qualifications
Solid hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio-visual systems (e.g., displays, projectors, sound systems, control panels, cabling). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals, with strong attention to detail and safety practices. Competence in basic electrical and networking concepts relevant to AV setups, including device connectivity, signal flow, and equipment mounting. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients in a site-based environment. Strong problem-solving abilities, including diagnosing AV issues, recommending solutions, and completing tasks with minimal supervision. Previous experience working as an AV technician or subcontractor on commercial or institutional projects in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Saudi Arabia, adhere to local regulations and client policies, and follow company standards for quality and safety. Relevant technical certification or vocational training in audio-visual technology, electronics, or a related field is an advantage.
