About the Job

NovaRack Contracting Company is looking for Accountant to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah Region. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience, aimed at supporting the company’s financial and accounting operations efficiently and accurately.

Role Objective

The holder of this position will be responsible for preparing and organizing expenditure documents, following up on revenue collections, documenting and analyzing them. The role also includes preparing accounting entries and recording financial transactions, auditing bank accounts and preparing the necessary reconciliations, in addition to preparing and preserving reports and documents related to expenses and revenues.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Audit financial claims and ensure they comply with legal and financial requirements.
• Prepare, organize and document expenditure documents, and follow up on auditing and approval by approved supervisory authorities.
• Monitor current and capital expenditures based on the monthly financial status of budget items.
• Prepare monthly financial position and summaries, and organize annual closing accounts.
• Prepare accounting entries and record financial operations in registers, audit bank accounts and prepare necessary reconciliations with monthly statement of reconciling items.
• Develop accounting methods and procedures and keep up with scientific and technological advances in the field.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports in the field of cost and revenue accounting and store them in the designated database.

Requirements and Skills

• Practical experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in accounting or a related financial field.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data and documents.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage accounting records and documents.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear reports.
• Willingness to keep up with developments in accounting methods and procedures.

Work Environment

The accountant will work within the NovaRack Contracting Company team in the city of Jeddah, in the region of Makkah Province. This is a full-time position requiring adherence to the company’s daily, monthly, and annual financial tasks.
