About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join the team at Le Méridien in Medina. This full-time role is centered on creating memorable and unique guest experiences, with food and beverages forming a key part of that service. The F&B Service Expert is expected to be proactive in delivering a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their meal. Candidates should have 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for guest service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interact with and serve guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Process transactions seamlessly as part of the overall guest experience.
• Contribute to a safe working environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold established quality standards for service and presentation.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.

Physical Requirements

This role requires physical activity, including being on your feet and moving around for extended periods. Specific physical demands include:

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended durations.
• Moving over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Managing menus, which involves reading and visually verifying information.
• Performing hands-on tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Executing other reasonable job duties as requested.
