Job Details

  • Diagnose and repair complex turbocharger systems, identifying root causes of performance issues and mechanical failures.
  • Perform precise disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of turbocharger components, adhering to strict tolerances.
  • Conduct dynamic balancing and alignment of rotating turbocharger assemblies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Install and commission new or rebuilt turbochargers, ensuring proper integration with engine systems and exhaust configurations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a technical degree or vocational certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hold certifications such as ASE L3 Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Specialist or equivalent specialized turbocharger training.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with turbocharger diagnostics, repair, and rebuilding.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of internal combustion engines, exhaust systems, and related pneumatic/hydraulic controls.
