Client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, operating systems, backup solutions, and core IT services to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the organization's technology environment. The successful candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms, storage, networking fundamentals, and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure environments. Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux servers. Administer virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V. Manage enterprise storage solutions, SAN/NAS infrastructure, and storage optimization. Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management services. Support Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), and hybrid infrastructure environments. Deploy operating system patches, firmware updates, and infrastructure upgrades. Implement infrastructure security best practices, including endpoint protection, privileged access management, and vulnerability remediation. Configure and maintain high-availability and failover solutions. Support cloud infrastructure deployments on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. Collaborate with network, security, database, and application teams to support enterprise systems. Develop infrastructure automation scripts where applicable. Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and operational procedures. Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives. Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems engineering. Strong experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities.
