Role Overview

WETICO, a division of Abunayyan Holding, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to leading the mechanical assembly and integration of skids, packages, and equipment for critical projects within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and water treatment sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all assembly activities are executed safely, on schedule, and in strict adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical assembly activities and assign daily work tasks to the assembly team.
• Ensure all equipment is assembled precisely according to engineering drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.
• Oversee critical assembly processes including equipment alignment, flange management, bolting, gasket installation, and torqueing.
• Coordinate closely with Quality Control (QC) personnel to ensure dimensional accuracy, proper fit-up, and completeness inspections.
• Enforce all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, including safe lifting, rigging, and manual handling practices.
• Manage and maintain tools, fixtures, and calibrated torque equipment.
• Lead 5S initiatives, provide coaching to assembly technicians, and report progress directly to Production Management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical assembly within a fabrication or manufacturing environment, including demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or water treatment package manufacturing.
• A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Technology.
• Experience in a Saudi Aramco (SAES/SAEP) regulated fabrication environment is highly preferred.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and assembly specifications.
• Hands-on experience with equipment alignment, bolting procedures, flange management, and quality inspections.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
• A strong commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring quality in all aspects of work.
