Key Responsibilities
- Record daily journal entries and manage the complete accounting cycle.
- Prepare and follow up on invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare related adjustments.
- Generate monthly financial reports.
- Monitor expenses and revenues, ensuring the accuracy and validity of supporting documents.
- Manage and reconcile employee advances and settlements.
- Prepare tax declarations, specifically Value Added Tax (VAT), and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Track employee salaries and coordinate with the Human Resources department as necessary.
- Operate accounting software and ensure accurate data entry.
- Collaborate with external auditors when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in accounting.
- Saudi nationality is required for this position.
Essential Skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare financial reports and analyze data effectively.
Regulatory Knowledge and Professional Affiliations
- Familiarity with Value Added Tax (VAT) and Zakat regulations.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in contracting companies.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding membership with the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).
