Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and emergency inspections at work sites to assess compliance with health and safety standards.
• Record inspection results in designated logs and compare them with approved standards to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and use equipment for measuring environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, noise, and vibration.
• Document environmental measurement results in approved records and follow up on potential hazards with the relevant authorities.
• Prepare accident and occupational injury investigation materials, conduct necessary investigations, and document results.
• Prepare and develop health and safety instructions and procedures, including safe work instructions and evacuation procedures.
• Educate workers on approved instructions and procedures to promote a safety culture in the workplace.
• Prepare and deliver routine and special work reports, documenting and securely preserving them in an organized manner.

Monitoring and Compliance Verification

The supervisor is responsible for conducting regular and unscheduled inspections of work sites, with precise documentation of observations and comparison to standard criteria. This also includes measuring various environmental factors with specialized devices to ensure a healthy work environment, and following up on any deviations with the relevant departments.

Incident Investigation and Safety Awareness

This role is central to investigating accidents and occupational injuries, from preparing the necessary tools to documenting results and deriving lessons learned. The supervisor is also committed to educating and raising employee awareness of safety instructions and preventive measures to enhance safety consciousness.

Documentation and Reporting

The role includes preparing a comprehensive set of documents, including health and safety instructions, safe work procedures, and evacuation plans. It also covers preparing and presenting routine and safety-related reports, ensuring accurate and organized documentation and retention.
