As a truck driver, The truck driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another in a safe and efficient manner, while adhering to delivery schedules and specified instructions.

This role includes performing regular inspections of the vehicle, complying with traffic regulations, and ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.

 What You’ll Bring :

•  Drive the truck to deliver goods to customers or designated locations.
•  Perform daily inspections of the truck to ensure its readiness (e.g., checking oil, brakes, tires).
•  Load and unload goods safely and in accordance with safety procedures.
•  Follow designated delivery routes and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
•  Maintain accurate records of delivery trips, driving hours, and distances traveled.
•  Communicate with the logistics team or customers to coordinate deliveries.
•  Fully comply with traffic laws and regulations related to freight transport.
•  Report any technical issues or problems encountered during driving.
•  Maintain the cleanliness of the truck and a professional appearance during work.
•  Collaborate with loading/unloading personnel and warehouse team to ensure accurate deliveries.
•  Adhere to safety and security procedures while driving and at loading/unloading sites 

Skills

Academic and professional qualifications :

•  High school diploma or equivalent
•  First Aid and Safety Training
•  Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License

Experience :

 Minimum 3 – 6 years of truck driving experience, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.

Skills & Knowledge :

•  Knowledge of traffic regulations and basic vehicle maintenance.
•  Ability to work long hours and travel between cities when required.
•  Strong commitment to punctuality and following instructions.
•  Good communication skills and a cooperative team spirit.
