Operations & Business Development Manager – Waste Management Location: Saudi Arabia
-Overview: We are looking for an experienced Operations & Business Development Manager to oversee waste management operations, ensure regulatory compliance, support business growth, and improve financial performance.
-Key Responsibilities:Operations Manage daily waste management operations, including trucks, containers, and equipment Oversee waste collection, transportation, and disposal activities Improve routing, scheduling, and overall cost efficiency
Compliance Ensure compliance with MWAN requirements and environmental regulations Manage permits, manifests, and required operational documents Maintain HSE standards and ensure readiness for audits and inspections
Business Development Develop new business opportunities and secure contracts Build relationships with industrial, commercial, and government clients Prepare pricing proposals and lead negotiations until deal closure
Finance & Collections Oversee invoicing and collection follow-up Monitor Accounts Receivable and work to improve DSOEnforce company payment policy, including No Payment = No Service
Team Management Lead operations, safety, and supervisory teams Monitor team performance and maintain accountability Set KPIs and prepare regular performance reports
Requirements5–10+ years of experience in waste management, logistics, or environmental services Good knowledge of waste management regulations and compliance requirements Experience in both operations and business development Strong understanding of pricing, margins, invoicing, and collections Leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively MWAN experience is preferred
