The IT Governance Consultant will support the enhancement and implementation of the organization’s IT governance framework. The role focuses on assisting in governance documentation, policy implementation, risk alignment, and ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the IT governance framework Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating IT policies, procedures, and standards Support governance assessments and gap analysis activities Track and report governance KPIs and performance metrics Assist in aligning IT risk and compliance activities with internal standards Support implementation and alignment with frameworks such as COBIT and ISO/IEC 27001Prepare documentation and reports for management review Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to support governance initiatives Provide support during internal and external audits
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Risk, or GRCExperience in IT policy development and governance documentation Working knowledge of COBITUnderstanding of IT risk management and compliance principles Strong documentation and reporting skills Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities Experience in public sector environments is an advantage Knowledge of Saudi regulatory practices is preferred
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (Preferred) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) (Preferred) Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) (Preferred) ISO/IEC 27001 knowledge or certification is a plus
