Responsibilities:Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment exp. Loaders, ADTs, Excavators, and Dozers. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults and perform repairs efficiently. Conduct daily inspections, servicing, and breakdown repairs in workshop and field conditions. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with LOTO procedures, MBCC standards, and workshop safety requirements. Accurately complete job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance records. Coordinate with supervisors and operators to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Report unsafe conditions, defects, and recurring equipment issues promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices and safety performance.
Qualification Requirements:Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and undercarriage components. Ability to follow LOTO procedures and workshop safety requirements.
Experience and Skills Requirements:Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in maintenance of heavy equipment (Loaders, ADTs, Excavators, Dozers). Hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance and fault finding. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and service procedures. Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work in workshop and site conditions.
