Key Responsibilities:
Implement, maintain, and monitor quality management systems in accordance with applicable standards and company procedures. Supervise and control quality activities across all fabrication stages, including cutting, welding, forming, assembly, and painting. Ensure all fabricated products comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements. Prepare and execute Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and issue quality inspection reports. Monitor welding and painting quality, including WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and coordination of NDT activities. Identify, report, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to improve process quality and reduce rework. Participate in internal and external audits (ISO / Client / Third-Party Audits). Maintain and update quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related field). Minimum 4 to 10 years of proven experience in Steel Fabrication or Structural Steel industry. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as AWS, ASTM, ISO. Good understanding of welding inspection and surface coating/painting requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to prepare clear technical and quality reports. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
