The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned payments professional who will lead Cards and ATM Switching stream, owning end-to-end delivery, integration, and optimization of card issuing, acquiring, and switching platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategy, architecture, and delivery for Cards and ATM Switching platforms including IST Switch, ATM/POS networks, Fraud Navigator, Vision+, and digital wallets Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle across issuing, acquiring, and switching services Drive integrations with VISA, Mastercard, and national switch networks, ensuring compliance with messaging, tokenization, and scheme standards Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, HSM configuration, encryption key management, and security best practices Lead project planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, and status reporting Collaborate with vendors, fintechs, scheme operators, and internal teams to adopt emerging payment technologies (contactless, mobile payments, 3DS, HCE) Establish transaction monitoring, fraud controls, operational KPIs, and continuous optimization initiatives Lead and coordinate cross-functional and vendor teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)5+ years of experience in cards and payments, with strong expertise in ATM/POS switching Proven experience delivering card issuing/acquiring platforms and switch services Strong knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), integration patterns, and cloud/on-prem environments Excellent stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and leadership skills Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
