Role and Responsibilities Develops and implements effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Leads and manages a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Researches and identifies potential suppliers, evaluates their performance, and negotiates favorable terms. Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain. Oversees all procurement processes, including sourcing, bidding, negotiation, and contract management. Analyzes procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency. Ensures compliance with all relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations. Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Develops and manages procurement budgets, ensuring that costs are aligned with business objectives. Negotiates contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions. Identifies and mitigates procurement risks to protect the company's interests. Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement function's effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications Requirements6-10 years of relative work experience.
Education Requirements BSc. in Purchasing & Supply. Affiliate Member of a Professional Body.
