We are currently seeking a highly skilled Associate Director / Technical Director – Data Centre (Mission Critical) to join our team in Riyadh, KSA, and provide senior leadership across our growing portfolio of mission‑critical projects in the region.
This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the technical strategy, engineering design, and delivery of large‑scale data centre projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and external partners to ensure the highest standards of performance, reliability, and innovation across mission‑critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee end‑to‑end design for mission‑critical data centre projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices. Provide technical authority across mechanical, electrical, and critical systems engineering. Manage project delivery, risk mitigation, and design reviews to ensure operational resilience and uptime. Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and client stakeholders to drive design excellence. Guide and mentor engineers, promoting innovation and continuous improvement. Support business development, proposal preparation, and technical presentations for new opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).12+ years of experience in data centre or mission‑critical engineering environments. Strong knowledge of Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, TIA, NFPA, and international data‑centre standards. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large‑scale technical programs. Leadership experience in engineering consultancies or data‑centre development organizations. Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
