The Contracts Manager (Pre-Contract) will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex, high-value contracts across service, vendor and strategic partnership arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:Contract Management & Negotiation - Draft, review and lead negotiations for Head of Terms, complex contracts including supply and services agreements with customers & vendors, securing favorable terms and conditions & forming strategic partnerships. Risks Management & Compliance – Identifying & mitigating contractual risks, in line with corporate governance & frameworks & ensuring all contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and applicable regulations. Contract Administration – Monitoring contract performance and enforcing contractual obligations. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and business units to align contract terms with organizational objectives. Negotiation & Strategy - Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions Implementing financial and commercial activities focusing on gross profit, cash flow and developing strategies for contract optimization and cost savings. Dispute Resolution - Manage and resolve contractual disputes, claims, and variations in a timely and effective manner. Reporting and Analysis & maintaining accurate records of all contractual documents and amendments.
Education & Experience:6–12 years of experience in contracts management, preferably in solar EPC / renewable energy/infrastructure projects Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Commerce, or Business Administration Postgraduate qualification in Contract Management / Construction Law is an advantage Strong exposure to pre-contracts, procurement contracts, and subcontracting
