Job Responsibilities:Monitor KPIs, KRs vs. risk appetite, limit thresholds and report violations as per policy and framework Review risk appetite statements and associated key risk and performance indicators and suggest updates as needed Maintaining the company's risk rating and risk register, periodically reviewing and recommending changes Collecting internal and external risk information Analyze the data collected to deliver consistent practices across the organization and identify areas where further risk mitigation is needed Provide guidance to business users in identifying, evaluating, managing and resolving risk challenges Maintain a record of problem management and work with risk owners to ensure timely resolution Escalate risk related issues to the Manager and manage operational risk in accordance with the policy and framework Participate in scenario design and help facilitate workshops with the business for scenario analysis Research operational losses within the industry, system and organization to better understand and measure the likelihood and impact of these losses in the future. Participate in the preparation of risk reports by capturing and compiling results from key risk operations for presentation to relevant committees Maintain current and detailed knowledge of operational and enterprise risk issues including awareness of local and international legislation, regulations and directives, insurance industry trends and initiatives, best practices, and implementation of these practices.
