General Description The ENTA/META engineer manager will serve as a key technical leader driving localization and design adaptation of ENTA/META elevator products within the KSA manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Head of the Product Development Center, this role plays a key part in bridging product innovation developed in China with local market conditions, supply chains, and regulatory environments. The manager will execute Asia Pacific product and engineering strategy and oversee a team of multi-disciplinary engineers and ensure seamless collaboration with the China Product Development Center (PDC) to deliver reliable, safe, and high-quality elevator solutions for the region.
Key Responsibilities
Product Localization & Adaptation Lead design adaptation efforts for ENTA/META elevator products based on market-specific requirements in KSA. Ensure alignment of product design with local supply chain capabilities, regulatory standards, and customer expectations. Drive cost-effective localization strategies without compromising product performance or safety.
Project & Engineering Management Supervise and guide a cross-functional engineering team of 4–5 members, including electrical and mechanical specialists. Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure successful industrialization of localized products. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery and execution.
Cross-Regional Collaboration Maintain strong, continuous collaboration with PDC China for knowledge transfer, technical support, and engineering alignment. Act as a key interface between China R&D and KSA operations to ensure synchronized development and problem resolution. Operational & Process Excellence Promote engineering best practices, including design validation, testing, and quality control. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, engineering workflow, and documentation.
Team Leadership & Development Provide technical mentorship and day-to-day leadership for team members. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Professional Experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in elevator product R&D or engineering. Proven track record in product localization and design adaptation. Experience managing or leading small engineering teams. Experience working in a multinational environment is preferred.
Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of elevator system architecture, components, and safety standards. Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, PLM). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken). Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
Work Environment and Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel occasionally between KSA and China for collaboration and training. Work is typically performed in an office and factory environment.
