We are looking for a Delivery Unit Manager (EMO) to lead and operate a centralized Event Management Office responsible for delivering complex, large-scale, and multi-event portfolios with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Establish and lead a centralized Event Management Office (EMO) governing all event delivery activities. Define and enforce event delivery standards, templates, playbooks, and execution methodologies. Ensure consistency, quality, and control across all event formats (festivals, conferences, exhibitions, activations, ceremonies, tours, etc.). Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent events, programs, and seasonal portfolios. Manage integrated event timelines from concept development through pre-production, live operations, and decommissioning. Monitor dependencies across creative, production, AVL, logistics, vendors, and venue operations. Design and operate governance structures, readiness checkpoints, and executive review forums. Develop dashboards covering budget, schedule, risk, safety, procurement, and operational readiness. Provide leadership with real-time visibility, early-warning indicators, and corrective action plans. Act as the central coordination point between internal teams and external stakeholders. Manage relationships with event vendors, suppliers, production partners, and venue operators. Lead alignment sessions, rehearsals, readiness reviews, and escalation management. Apply tailored event delivery frameworks suitable for different event scales and formats. Lead post-event evaluations, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the use of digital tools, dashboards, and automation platforms for planning and reporting. Ensure accurate tracking of KPIs, budgets, timelines, and operational readiness metrics. Lead, coach, and develop EMO team members and event delivery managers. Set performance objectives and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and delivery excellence.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Event Management, or a related field.8–12+ years of experience in event delivery management, EMO/PMO, program management, or consulting. Proven experience leading a centralized EMO or large-scale event delivery function. Strong hands-on experience managing complex or multi-event portfolios. Consulting or Tier-1 / Big Four advisory background is a plus. Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skills. High resilience and ability to perform under tight timelines and live-event pressure.
