About the Role — Senior Arc GIS System Administrator
Smart System is hiring a Senior Arc GIS System Administrator to support a strategic project in KSA. The role focuses on designing, administering, and optimizing Enterprise Arc GIS environments, ensuring secure, high-performance operations and smooth integration with utility systems such as ADMS.
Key Job Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and manage Arc GIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store). Administer GIS servers, databases, and enterprise geodatabases (SDE). Manage user access, licensing, security, and system performance. Support Arc GIS–ADMS integration in the DCC environment. Troubleshoot GIS infrastructure, backup systems, and data synchronization.
Required Qualifications & Technical Experience
7+ years in GIS administration or enterprise GIS projects.4+ years hands-on with Arc GIS Enterprise. Strong experience with Arc GIS Server, Portal, Data Store, and SDE. Working knowledge of Python/Arc Py & SQL. Experience with Windows Servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and basic networking/security. Prior experience in utilities, smart grid, or KSA/GCC projects is a plus.
