Job Description:The General Accountant is responsible for overseeing and executing the company’s daily accounting operations, including recording journal entries, reviewing invoices and expenses, and preparing periodic financial reports. The accountant ensures the accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:Accurately record daily journal entries in a timely manner Review invoices and expenses and reconcile accounts Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports Assist in the preparation of financial statements and account closing Reconcile bank accounts and monitor financial transactions Support internal and external audit processes Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards. Accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team.
