Role Purpose To handle and maintain the organization’s servers and virtual environments, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of hosted applications. This role supports daily operations, troubleshoots issues, and optimizes resources within the set KPIs, agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures. Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

Key Accountability Areas Key Activities Infrastructure Management To assist in the administration and maintenance of physical and virtual server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades on server operating systems and applications to maintain security and compliance. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of MED systems and software applications. Assess technical situation, using technical knowledge and expertise, and arranging work to be carried out in order to provide a cost effective, acceptable and practical solution Carry out both scheduled and unscheduled PMI’S and practical solutions within area of expertise ensuring that all technical requirements are met Process improvement and Compliance Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in infrastructure operations. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in MED infrastructure management. Comply with all relevant SQE procedures and controls to ensure health and safety, regulatory compliance, delivery of high-quality service and environmentally friendly behaviors Reporting and documentation Report to the Supervisor for all relevant maintenance or repair work information to ensure that they are kept up to date Prepare periodic and yearly reports on the achievements and challenges related to the All MED systems and submit them to the Supervisor Collaboration and Support Support daily operations by monitoring server and virtual machine performance, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring service continuity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and support applications running on servers and virtual environments. Engage with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their physical and virtual server environments needs. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on project goals and progress. Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot issues and coordinate maintenance activities. Knowledge and Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in infrastructure support or a related field Education and Certifications A Technical diploma in related role is required. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications Microsoft Certified, Linux administration or relevant server administration certifications Proficient in using monitoring tools and systems administration software
