Job Summary The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for designing and developing organizational structures, creating and updating job descriptions, developing operational and administrative policies and procedures, and enhancing internal governance frameworks. The role aims to improve organizational efficiency, standardize operations, enhance process quality, and raise overall compliance through advanced organizational practices. Key Responsibilities1. Organizational Structure Design & Development Develop and update organizational structures in alignment with strategy and operational requirements. Analyze roles, tasks, and reporting relationships to ensure clarity and effectiveness. Review and adjust spans of control and functional distributions to enhance efficiency.2. Job Description Development Prepare clear and comprehensive job descriptions covering duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and competencies. Conduct job analysis using modern methods and tools to ensure accuracy and fairness. Align job descriptions with the organizational structure and strategic direction.3. Policies & Procedures Development (SOPs) Develop and document operational and administrative policies and procedures based on best practices. Periodically update policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Standardize procedures across departments to reduce duplication and improve compliance.4. Governance Frameworks Development Develop governance charters, decision-making matrices, and authority frameworks. Support the establishment of internal governance models such as committees, control reports, and approval workflows. Monitor governance implementation and ensure adherence across departments.5. Process Improvement & Efficiency Enhancement Document and analyze process flows (process mapping) to identify operational gaps. Propose improvement solutions that increase efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance quality. Conduct benchmarking against best practices to elevate organizational maturity.6. Reporting & Operational Support Prepare periodic reports on structures, job descriptions, policies, and compliance levels. Provide support to leaders and departments on organizational development topics. Contribute to institutional change and administrative development initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.2 years of experience in organizational development, policies and procedures, or governance. Knowledge of organizational structure design and job analysis fundamentals. Strong skills in policy and procedure development and process documentation. Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Strong communication and writing skills.
